I started out in events
It was an accident, but a really fun one. I was at the helm of a really, really eccentric venue that was used for weddings, photoshoots, and pretty wild parties (like, really wild, if you know what I mean 👀).
And at the same time started dabbling in all the design
Event design, tablescape design (yes, this is a real thing), graphic design, interior design., product design and website design. You name it. I designed it..
I had a baby and an epiphany
Why work for someone else when I can work for myself? 4 ish years of Brand Consulting and numerous really cool brands later… (and more websites obvs, including my own.) My own website was my most important build. Clients LOVED the site and loved my branding, which meant hello dream clients and yay packed diary. .
Enter Studio Jacques
Plateau basically isn’t in my vocabulary, so onwards and upwards. And in case you were wondering, one of my little boy’s middle names is Jacques, after my French grandmother and my grandfather Jack (even though his actual name was Fred - weird). .
